Mickey Decorated Container Jars
Ivy had just sent me this picture of her new creation. She gave this away to her friends who agreed to host a workshop and they all loved it! One of the jars she made was this Mickey Mouse silhouette with a lovely real red finial embossed background then tied a 1" Double Stiched grosgrain ribbon(#115607, p.182) around the jar. It's soooo cute! I asked one from her..heee. Oh btw, she used the "Thank you Kindly" set #120248 on her tag. She got it free from SAB. I want one too!
She also made another version using the "Very Thankful" Stamp Set #120270 p.11 from the SAB catalogue which she got free! We're sorry that the picture didn't do justice but it's so cute in person. Notice that she also used the grass techinique on it and colored the image with blender pens and Stampin' pad inks. She also couldn't resist using those tissue flowers. What a perfect way to use them. Soooo Cute.

Flower Pop Up Card
Hello there! I took 2 days off from blogging and took a long drive to clear my head this past few days. I'm ok now. I realized that things happen for a reason to make way to other things for a purpose. Well, I'm back again to my bloggin routine and there's no other way to keep me in perspective. Thanks to those who follow me and care about what I do. Thank you my friends, I dedicate this card to all of you out there :)
This card was made and inspired by the round punches I made for my Birdhouses! I didn't know what to do with the excess circle CS (I had alot). Then I started just embossing them and putting them together to make a flower. Notice the small heart with the brad! So cute with the flower.
With the grass part, it's just cutting vertical snips closely cut together to make the grass section in this card! To enhance the grass, I had to curl it like how you curl your ribbon with scissors. Then with the 2 Step Bird wings punch, just puts the "icing on the cake". It perfectly set as leaves for my flower in Certainly Celery CS specially with a smudge of Old Olive ink.
I made this card when I held a demo in the Hallmark store as a guest! The onlookers just wanted to get a hand of it and gave them the choice of their own sentiments which I adapted onto the card. Here's another version. Very pretty!!! Note: I got some potential Hostess contacts while doing this demo.

Mint Candy Labels
Hi,Stampies!!! I've been glued into watching the Winter Olympics this past week! Specially this weekend!!! I was so ecstatic with the athletes who competed and won! Just the stories behind these athletes makes them more interesting to watch. In some way or another, they've inspired me to draw my goals and cross them. And that made me think about my goals in Stampin' Up! Not only would I aspire to succeed in this business but to inspire my blog followers and friends who have been behind me, supporting me in every way.
I made a couple of projects this weekend and here's one of them. Have you always gotten some mints from a restaurant after having your meal. They hand you these candy mints in small wrappers with your bill. I found this candy mints with Gingham Wrappers and couldn't resist to decorate them.
Using the Curly Label punch and the Small Oval Punch, I started to decorate them with stamps. When using the curly label, just fold it in half and ahere with your snail. Don't they look so cute!!! From a simple sweet treat to a thoughtful item you can give to your friends or as a special thank you treat!

Altered Good Neighborhood Box
Do you have containers lying around the kitchen or your craftroom? I've got lots of them, thanks to my mom who loves to save durable containers. Everytime I needed to store something, she always has the answer and the right container..haha. What do I do without her? Thanks, Mom!
Here's one of those containers I had to alter. With the Good Neighborhood Stamp Set from the 2010 SaleABration, it's so easy to fill out a design around the box. Like a collage! Ain't that great! You can make your own DSP!
I had to change the top of the cover because it was too plain. I embossed the paper with Perfect Polka Dots and it looked better. But still not there yet. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to spruce this up!

Tissue Paper Flowers - Tutorial
By popular demand, here are the instructions for the Tissue Flowers. There are many types of tissue flowers out there and I just found that these recipe was the one that really caught my eye. I cased it from my friend, Raidis, and added more layers of tissue to get the full effect of a carnation using the Scallop Circle Punch #109043.
STEP 1:
First, fold a whole sheet of Wrapping Tissue Paper by 4 (3 lenghtways and 1 crossway). The results will be one long envelope size which will cut 4-5 Scallop Circles across. NOTE: Start from the fold so the Scallop Circle Punch will easily slide into the thickness of the wrapping tissue paper. You'll be able to get 16 pieces of tissue paper scallop circles.
STEP 2:
Punch a hole in the middle of the scallop circle for your brad. Use the Handheld Punch 1-1/16" #101227. Then you're ready to put your brad through.
STEP 3:
Start crunching the tissue paper from the center. Then work your way outward. This way you'll be able to make your tissue paper fluffy and full!
STEP 4:
Then hold the flower from the back and smudge it onto your Ink Pad. I used the Pretty in Pink Ink Pad #101301. Carefully smudge it in a circular motion so you only capture the tips of the tissue.
VOILA!!! You have your carnations! Wasn't that easy! I used my Sending Love Epoxy Brads - Chocolate Chip 1/4" - #117272 p.13(OMC), for a special card I'm making. I'll be posting that card with this tissue flower tomorrow. So stay tuned!!!

Valentine Lollipop Birdhouse
Who Dat??? It's a Birdhouse!!! With a lollipop!!! I just had to make these when I was thinking of a way to make a lollipop holder. Then everything came into place with the milk carton! As you all know that these birdhouses are really going around (thanks to Patty, when she showcased them in the Leadership conference).
For the roof, I cut a Whisper White CS by 1-1/2" then punched the CS with the new Scallop Trim Border from (SAB) #118402. Then counted 4 scallops to cut.
NOTE: To seal it, I had to use the crystal effects glue- #101055 because it dries faster. As soon as I apply a small amount I clip it with the binder clips to hold for
a minute then the lid is sealed in place. You may also use Tombow Multi Purpose Glue- #110755
