Xmas Wishlist/Planner -Altered Note Pads

Hello, there! Excuse me for my short absence but I still believe in that saying that absence makes the heart go fonder. Don't you think? Anyway, todays share is a cute note pad I made for my workshop guest who brought a friend. Yup, I just had to make those cute owls again and this time I made a Santa Owl! Whoo Whoo Whoo.. (instead of ho, ho, ho). Notice I added a little Pom Pom on his hat!

My cover for these note pads are the new DSP, Candy Cane Christmas #120809. What I love about this DSP set are the glitters on the paper. They just sparkle everywhere and makes your project look so magical!(the picture does not even do justice to show it) I used 80 sheet, small composition notebooks in this project which measures 3-1/4" x 4-1/2". To complete the ensemble, I included a pen which I wrapped with DSP then tied a red bow on it. I had to insert the DSP in one of the pens, however, it didn't go well with the other because the DSP was to thick to fit in the pen capsule.

These notepads can be used as your Xmas Planner as your guide to:
Decking the Halls,
Trimming the Trees,
and spreading GOOD CHEER without falling off your sleigh....

So for my upcoming Holiday Workshops, you get this notepad with a pen FREE, when you bring a friend!!!

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Please visit my blog and my Stampin Up Website! Have a nice day!

These are SOOOOOOO cute! Can you give us a few tips on how you made Santa Owl? What punches did you use for the "details"?
