Happy Thanksgiving to All - A Lollie Tree

Happy Thanksgiving to all you talented and awesome crafters!!! Here's to another appreciation day for all you out there who inspired, created and shared. I'm thankful that I have you here who gives me the reason to keep on expressing my creativity. That alone is precious to me :)

Since the Simply Scored Scoring Tool #122334 came out, this project is just the easiest to do. I made this project last August, only now did I get to post it.. why?... ugh... let me count the reasons..... super di duper BUSY!!!!

Anyway, there are 9 lollies in this tree:(from the bottom)
One 1-3/4";
Two 1-1/2";
Two 1-1/4";
Two 1";
Two 3/4" lollies
then folded in 1/2" intervals.

I used 3 star punch for the tree topper, and glued them as a 3 sided star using silver glimmer paper.

You can use this as decoration to your Holiday dinner table! Have fun making it :)

Petal Cone - Santa Elf

I've been thinking of colors for this cute box and it didn't disappoint me. Here's a cute elf version! Just like my Santa Petal Cone, I used Glitter paper #121790, red this time.

I also discovered I had tons of small red buttons... voila!!! Very cute embellishment that sealed the design :) I believe buttons are the best dimension to use in any project :)

Many have asked me how I sealed these boxes.. just the plain four-side fold :) Have you seen those Petal card folds?... exactly like that :) You can seal them with a sticky strip if you have a heavy item in it. Just remember to fold the scores well so your box may stand perfectly.

Christmas 10-inch Wreath - Lollies

Whew, this was a great project but you'll really need to make time to make this project. Time to put things together, time to choose the color motif and designs to use in your wreath and time to put them together:)

For a 10" wreath, I used the cardboard base from the Glitter papers that came in. It's thick enough to make the base of the wreath. The tricky part is to get a disc out from it. I used my Circle Scissor Plus #112530, then set the dial to 6". This will cut the inner part of the wreath. TIP: If you are not able to cut the cardboard all through out with the Circle Scissor Plus blade, you may need to use a Box Cutter.

Measure 2 inches from the cut edge all around the circle to make a guide for the outer part of the wreath. Cut with your box cutter and use your Designer Sanding Block #124304 to smooth out the edges. Have fun making it:)
TIP: Good company and friends can help out. What a lovely way to spend time with love ones.

In the meantime, to make the lollies, there are many videos out there to learn from :) I'll let you know if I make my own tutorial. :)

Measurement of Lollies:
1-1/2" - Big Lollies (9 pieces)
1-1/4" - Medium Lollies (5 pieces)
1" - Small Lollies (3 pieces)
Lollies were scored at 1/4" apart using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.

DSP:
- Holly Berry Bouquet #124004 (from Holiday Mini Catalogue)
- Jolly Holiday #117159 (retired)

Punch:
- Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer #122464
- Daily Triple Layer #122465
- Boho Blossom Punch #119858
- Scallop Circle Punch #119854
- 5-petal flower punch #119880

- 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Old Olive
- 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Real Red
- 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
- buttons (red and green)
