A Dedication - Owl Pillow Box

I made this box a couple of weeks ago and almost forgot about it! What happened? Just too busy and I just got sad news about my mom. She's not well these days. Well first she had the flu and was just getting over it this week. Then the news came she has Stage 4 cancer. She'll be going through radiation everyday for 3 weeks. I've heard how the radiation takes a toll in the body but for a 75 year old lady? That's tough.

With my mom's high spirits and positive outlook on things like this, she's coping well. We just have to pray for her speedy post recovery after her treatment and hope that she goes into remission again for the 3rd time.

May God Bless her always and provide her with the strength that she needs to overcome this.

Here's another owl box dedicated to all of you out there who are going through the same ailment. You have Cancer but Cancer does not have you.

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. Please visit my blog and my Stampin Up Website! Have a nice day!

I read your message about your mom. Take care of her. Not to worry about your blog while you will look after your mom. Family comes first. I liked this project. TFS.

Hi....
I am so sorry to hear the news of your mother.
I pray she gets through this and has many years with her family!
Her attitued will pull her through!
My 78-year-old mom has had several major surgeries since 03....her positive, goofy attitude sure helps!
Take care!
Oh, and another great project! Thanks for sharing!

Your work is always so amazing, and this pillow box is no exception!
I will pray for your mom, and you as well, as you go through this. I loved your comment about cancer not 'having' you.... God has 'you' in the palm of his hand.

I will be praying for your mom and your family.
I just love your "beautiful girly owl". How happy and spring like. I am going to use your beautiful pillow box owl to give small gifts (choclates) to my friends at the senior center for their Birthdays...they are 80+. They will love this...Thanks
