Post Christmas Card
Hi,everyone! Yikes, this is the 1st Holiday I've been in MIA (missing in action)!!! I just had so much going on in my life... Transition, Work, Personal issues, death in the family, adapting, coping, and acceptance!!! All this in one season... I think I need to divert. But before I can do that, I need to do it one baby step at a time. Time and Life, is what we all go through. There's always time for things in life... Time for compassion, Time for forgiveness, Time for acceptance, Time for Love.... etc.
Now I make Time for Creativity and Time for Sharing... Here's one you can cherish through out the season (what's left of it :) Maybe you can just change the hat of the owl :)
For the Santa Hat, I just used the Owl Punch and cut the owl in half and make the owl ears as the tip of Santa's Hat :) I also got some mini pom poms for the hat... doesn't it look sooooo cute!!! Always adds that extra touch when you go dimensional :)
Used the glitter paper which I sooo love! Just use the Window Word punch and cut the piece in half, then shape the edges. I'll always be using this paper forever and always.
Used Textured Embossing Folder where you may also use any kind.
I used a stamp set called "Merry Merry Messages" but I'm not sure if it's retired or not. Then I heat embossed the stamp image with Gold Embossing powder :) It took awhile if you are making alot of this cards, but it was fun making them :)
You can find a Polka Dot DSP anywhere these days... it's just darling to use them with a Santa Hat :) hihi.
