Petal Cone - Santa


I'm blessed to have followers who inspire me. Not only do they inspire me they also spice up my creativity. I do believe we all need one another as craft artist and I just want to thank you all out there :)

Today, I would like to share a casing I made from Mary's Craft Room :) I saw it in her blog last September and have been planning to make these. I just tweeked and spruced some parts. Thanks, Mary for sharing your inspiration from your daughter :)

Cardstock:
- Real Red (for the box and nose)
- Blush Blossom or Blushing Bride (for the cheeks)
- Basic Black (for the eyes)
- Whisper White
- Spruce (Pear Pizzazz)
- Cherry Cobbler Red (hollies)

- 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Real Red #109034
- Glitter Paper - Silver #124005
- Not SU Punch for the cypress leaf with the holly berry
- Tempting Turquoise Ink Pad #100814 (to smudge edge of mustache)

Kay, I LOVE your take on my creation! These are just too cute! Wouldn't these be cute sitting on the table as name cards? Or to hold small treats for friends, family or co-workers? Kay I LOVE your santa and tried making one of my own. Did you have any problems punching the sliver glitter papper? I broke my scallop edge punch on the first try!!

Wow!!! Thanks for sharing - I think! After seeing this, I had to invest in the die, the premium crease pad (it really does make a difference) and some more sliver glimmer paper. Having completed my fisrt Santa, I'm so happy I did!
