4th Day of Christmas Candy Blog

Ok, hear ye, hear ye, hear ye! Todays Christmas Candy Blog is about Christmas Trees! We'd like to know how you decorate your tree during this whimsical season. Again, just email me for a chance to win these Set of 4 "O' Christmas Tree" cards. Winners will be picked and announced on December 20th.

I used to have real tree but I've thought that I'd rather have "A" decorative tree this time (meaning artificial). My tree is a Table Top Wreath Tree from Department 56 in Macy's.
I got inspired by Martha Stewart where she featured the same tree and decorated it with her collection of ornaments. With some of my collection, I decorated it with some glittered silk flowers.

3rd Day of Christmas Candy Blog

It's the 3rd day of Christmas Candy Blog and it just gets interesting. I'm going to give away to the winner these set of 4 Snowman Cards! I used the Ski Slope DSP and was really glad that it came out well. I love the one with the swirly snowflake.

To win this set, you can leave an email about your most memorable holiday. It may be funny or jolly or weird or exciting. My most memorable one would be when I first saw Santa when I was 7.... yep, 7... Santa came and surprised us all in a family gathering and gave out gifts. Of course, I really thought he was Santa and I froze everytime he came. We had that tradition for years until all of the kids grew up and took turns posing as Santa to surprise the kids of the next generation. Ho, Ho, Ho! (The original Red Suit used still exist to this day).
The winner of this Candy Blog will be announced on December 20th.

DSP: Ski Slope
Stamps: Deer Friends, Best Yet Stamp Set
Cardstock: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip Brown, Baja Breeze, Shimmery White
Tools: Scallop Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Chocolate Chip Ink Pad
Other Notes: Dazzling Diamond Glitter used on Snowman Hat

2nd Day of Christmas Candy Blog

Here is the Second day of Christmas Candy Blog! I'll be giving away 6 cards of these window card designs. They're simple but elegant. There will be 3- "O'Christmas Tree and 3" - "from the guy with the red suit".

Remember, just provide a comment about your favorite Christmas decoration and why it's your favorite, then get a chance to win these cards. I'll be announcing the winners of the 2nd Day Christmas Blog on December 20th, so tune in.

My favorite Christmas decoration is the "Parol". It's a Filipino decoration shaped like a star which is usually placed outside a home. This signifies the light that shined that very night that our Christ the Saviour was born in a manger. The decoration is usually made of different materials, like colored japanese paper or Capiz shell, made to look like a star then lighted with small bulbs inside for illumination.

Measurements: 4-1/4" wide x 5-1/2" tall
Stamps Used: Deer Friends, Best Yet Stamp with Chocolate Chip Ink
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss Green
Tools: Scallop Punch, 1-3/8" circle punch, 1-1/4" circle punch

Reindeer Poop Treats

Hi! We will be having a Christmas Craft Fair this weekend and here's one of the items we're selling. This is a very popular treat as many would know. Many demonstrators have made their own versions and here is mine. It took me 15 minutes to make a dozen as soon as I've gathered all the tools, cardstocks and made the matted poems.

You will need the following tools:

CARDSTOCK: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa
Measurements: Ribbon cut at 5", use BigShot Top Notes die or 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" CS
Addl Notes: I used just regular printer paper and had no measurements for the poem. Then matted it with "Close to Cocoa" CS. Used Real Red Marker for the red nose.
Ribbon Tip: I folded the ribbon lengthwise (for thinner ribbon, tied a knot once and glued it on the bottom of the tag.
